Elisabeth Oberleitner
Elisabeth Oberleitner is an Austrian art historian and independent curator based in Vienna. She studied Art History in Vienna and completed a Master's degree in Fine & Decorative Arts in London. After working with international galleries and museums, she founded the contemporary art gallery Hola Venus in Mexico. In 2023, she established the curatorial practice eo studiio. Her interest is informed by introspective approaches, focusing on slowing down, attentive perception, and playful modes of engagement.
Through exhibitions and immersive installations, she develops sensory situations for contemplation guided by presence and curiosity.
She has collaborated with Vienna Art Week, Salzburger Kunstverein x Salzburger Festspiele and Motherboard Art Space Vienna. Current projects include an interactive installation ‘Liege’ing’ for the Klein & Haarig Festival, Germany (July 2026) and the sculptural artist book ‘Mood Hood’ with artist Sanna Gossy
